My name is Katya Nicholas. I’m turning 50 in 2026, and this body of work is especially meaningful to me this year. I see so many women hesitate to be celebrated in photos. We’re surrounded by a very narrow definition of beauty, and over time, it quietly shapes how we see ourselves. This is why Salma Hayek’s words resonate with me so much: Behold yourself as beautiful.

I’ve been photographing people—on and off—since I was 9 years old. Even then, I was drawn to the people around me—my teachers, classmates, and friends—and to how beautiful they were without any effort or styling.
Today, I combine that ability to capture unguarded moments with years of experience guiding you through the process—so what we create feels effortless, even when it’s directed, and the experience itself is relaxed and genuinely fun!

We begin with a thoughtful consultation to design your session—discussing colors, silhouettes, and the overall feel you want your images to carry. You’re welcome to select from our curated studio wardrobe, with couture pieces available to support the vision, if you desire.

HAIR & MAKEUP

For those who want it, a professional makeup artist is available to prepare you onsite, helping you ease into the experience with a look that feels like you—natural, refined, or more polished. Light hairstyling brings everything together seamlessly.
If makeup isn’t part of how you feel most like yourself, that’s equally welcome.
CELEBRITY STYLE PHOTOSHOOT
This is a fully guided experience designed around you. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do—I’ll direct you every step of the way. My role is to help you feel at ease and create images that feel natural, authentic, and unmistakably yours.
